Together
with the „Research Institute of Transportation “, an organization of
the Iranian Traffic Ministry, NSTI will organize a conference with the title
„Road Safety on the Airport Airside “. Dr. Rezvani, Head of Board and
director of the department „Transport and Traffic “of NSTI, will be the
main speaker in that event. At the conference, which will be on May
26th 2009 at the venue of the „Research Institute of Transportation“
in Teheran , various technical systems with large positive effect on the
road safety of the airport airside will be introduced. Furthermore the
possibility of its installation and usefulness at national airports will
be discussed.

While
maintaining his position as the director of the “Department for Career Development
“within NSTI, Mr. Arian Shahrabi was
also appointed to Business Development Manager.

With
the establishment of the “Department for Career Development “ NSTI became
active also within the field of selection and training of personnel for
industry and trade and starts immediately offering companies and private customers its
services also for the discovery and development of personal and vocational
abilities. This department is led by Mrs. Katy Shaery and Mr. Arian Shahrabi.
Both have many years of experience in the field of personnel management
and - training in Iran and Europe with well-known international enterprises
such as Mercedes Benz, Siemens, Nokia and TMP Worldwide. The establishment of
the new department led to an organizational change within NSTI, so that
the company at present consists of the two departments "Transport
and Traffic" and "Career Development “.

Dr. Saeid Rezvani was
appointed to the Managing Director of the NSTI. This led also to the change of
the position of Dr. Ing. Amanollah Rezvani.
He is as from now Chairman of the Board and Director of the Department „Transport
and Traffic “within NSTI.

In
a meeting on March 5th, 2009 NSTI and the representatives of a
European consortium consisting of Frankfurt Airport, the University of the
Saarland and some other well-known European enterprises decided to co-operate
in the field of technical advancement and the regional introduction of a state
of art Airport Ground Traffic Management System.

NSTI supported the
conference on „Privatization in the Air Transport Industry “by inviting two
foreign consultants/speakers from Canada and Portugal. The conference organized
by the Iranian Aviation Authority took place in Teheran on February 28th.

Dr. Rezvani will hold a
lecture for the Association of Iranian Engineers and Specialists in Germany
(VINI) on “The latest News regarding Safety Measures in Air Traffic” on March 2nd
2009.

organized by the Technical University of Berlin Dr. Rezvani will hold a lecture
on „Future Air Traffic Control and Flight Management Concepts “.

After several successful
experiences in the development of technical systems, e.g. for the road traffic,
NSTI decided to work more intensively in the field of development and integration
of technical systems for the increment
of safety and efficiency of air and road transport systems. In order to be
successful in this range, NSTI will try to use the experience and the technical
knowledge of its partners and international advisors in the best way. Systems, on which NSTI will work during the
first phase (the next five years), are a modern Airport Ground Traffic
Management System (A-SMGCS), a system for the discovery of dangerous articles
on flight and runways (RDDS), a warning system for the avoidance of the danger by
bird flight in airports, aircraft docking the guidance system as well as
Intelligent Road Transport systems (ITS).

On the basis of a contract
with the „Airways International New Zealand “ Dr. Rezvani will work as advisor
for the Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority for the execution of a subproject on
the modernization of the Kuwait air space. Dr. Rezvani will be responsible of
the technical preparation of the design and implementation of the Advanced
Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS) and Runway Debris
Detection System (RDDS) at the international airport of Kuwait. The estimated
volume of the project for the protection of roll traffic at the airport of
Kuwait amounts to 100 million Dollars.

NSTI joined the „Aviation Consultancy
Network (AVCONET) “based in Frankfurt.

NCI moved its office from
Teheran to Frankfurt. The new Internet address of NCI is: www.nemad-ci.de.
After shifting its location to Germany, NCI activities are focused on
management consultancy services as well as trainings for international
enterprises and organizations which are offered under the license of „Crestcom
International “.

Force admiral A.D. Ehsan Fazeli began its co-operation with NSTI as the
training director.

I.C.A.O. listing of Providers of Aviation Training Courses.

NSTI signed a contract for
a strategic co-operation with the TÜV Academy Iran Germany. In the
context of this agreement the two partners cooperate in the design and
provision of training courses.

Dr. Rezvani was
honored by the deputy chairman of Iranian Traffic Police Authority for the
quality of his training activities at the Iranian Traffic University.

NSTI was selected by „Civil
Aviation Technology College (CATC) “ as
partner for training managers and experts of Iranian airports. In the first
phase of this co-operation it is agreed to design and offer several rounds of
suitable training courses for financial experts and top managers of Iranian
airports.

NSTI offers in co-operation
with the Iranian Traffic Ministry training courses on the topic
of „Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) “to the Transport Authorities of
different Iranian provinces.

On November 8th NSTI
organized in cooperation with the „Civil Aviation Technology College“ a
conference with the title „Planning and Management in Transportation “, in which
several representatives of Iranian and German companies held lectures and
presented their services. „Use of Intelligent Systems in Air Traffic
Management with Special Emphasis on Ground Traffic“, „The Approach of the
Iranian Governmental Organizations regarding the Use of Intelligent Systems in
the Traffic “and „Quality Management in Aeronautics on the basis of AS EN
9100-Standards “ were some of the topics discussed.

On September 26th
Dr. Klaus-Peter Sternemann, a German team member of NSTI, who is in Iran for cooperation in an NSTI
project, held a scientific lecture at the Iranian Research Institute for
Transportation, a sub-organization of the Iranian Traffic Ministry. The title
of his lecture was „Safety Management Systems in Aviation “.

Nemad
Group was introduced on 27 September in a conference of experts, which was
organized by the University of Teheran and the Technical University of Berlin,
as an example of a successful scientific and economic cooperation between Iran
and Germany.

NSTI signed a long-term, exclusive cooperation contract
with the well-known German expert Dr. Klaus-Peter Sternemann. Dr. Sternemann
has 25 years of international experience
in the consultation to the air traffic management.
